Thanks for the tips on core training. I was wondering about your recommendation for Yoga…
Recently I started on a dedicated bodybuilding program and my trainer emphasizes the need for correct rest for the muscles to grow. One of the biggest mistakes beginners make is to over-train and reduce their overall gains. So I’ve temporarily stopped my swimming and biking while I focus on following my trainer’s program.
I’m now finding that my shoulders and arms are getting bigger and stronger, but they are getting stiffer.
I’ve been thinking of adding Yoga to my routine for the flexibility, but would I be falling into the over training trap and reduce my muscle gains if I add Yoga to my weight lifting?
